Bay Farm Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees of Bay Farm Montessori Academy is responsible for the long-term health and viability of the school. In this capacity, the Board sets goals and policies, hires and evaluates the Head of School, and works closely with the school’s administration on things such as long-term planning, finances, fundraising, and facilities.

Denise Mengani:
Denise Mengani is the former principal of the Maurice Hawk pre-K-3 elementary school, special services assistant director pre-K-5, and a middle school/high school teacher of broadcasting, mass media, and language arts in West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District, New Jersey. She has a specialization in elementary reading and writing. She served as vice president and negotiator of the WW-P Teachers’ Association as well as president of the WW-P Administrators’ Association.

Meredith Badders, faculty representative: Meredith Badders, MAT, is the Middle School lead humanities teacher at Bay Farm Montessori. Her undergraduate educational background is in history and geography, while her Master of Arts is in Middle School Teaching, specifically in the social studies field. She has been an educator and coach to the Upper Elementary through Adolescent age for ten years, six of those years in a Montessori setting and four of those years as a lead Adolescent guide. She has a son who attends Bay Farm's Toddler House and is currently in the second year of her faculty representative position with the board.
