Bay Farm’s Montessori Parents' Association (MPA) is a dynamic volunteer organization comprised of parents/guardians of Bay Farm Montessori Academy students. The MPA organizes special school events and activities scheduled throughout the year.

The MPA’s ongoing success is a combination of generous parental involvement, fresh ideas, and a wide range of diverse interests. Through the efforts of the MPA, the school community enjoys many opportunities to get to know each other and allow parents to see their children play, laugh, and thrive alongside fellow students. The cooperation, creativity, and high level of energy within our organization enhance the Bay Farm spirit of Maria Montessori and support our teachers and staff as they provide high-quality Montessori education. This year we are hosting Montessori in the Home Workshops prior to our MPA Meetings. In September, ELI Lead Teacher Katie Byrne, discussed homework and how best to support your child while encouraging independence. In October, she reviewed long-term projects and focused on the Bay Farm Science Fair. Our upcoming workshop is Tuesday, November 5 at 8:45am where Mary Sullivan, a Lead Teacher over in Toddler House, will be discussing ways to support toddler independence with activities at home.
