This USATF-sanctioned race begins and ends on the Bay Farm Montessori Academy campus and runs along beautiful Bay Road in Duxbury. You won't want to miss this high-spirited road race celebrating the joy, purpose, and compassion of the Bay Farm community. The Kids' Fun Run, suitable for age groups 2-3, 3-5, and 5 and up will take place before the 5K
Bay Farm is celebrating its 50th anniversary and as a long-standing member of the Duxbury community, they are excited to bring back this event after a two-year hiatus caused by the pandemic.
Cash prizes will be given to the top three male and female finishers, awards will be given to the top three age group finishers as well as to the fastest family. For our Kids Fun Run, we will be celebrating the fastest boy and girl in the 5 and up category. Snacks and drinks to be provided post-race.
All proceeds of the Bay Farm 5k Run by the Bay go directly to supporting the innovative programming and hands-on experiences that benefit our current and future Bay Farm students.
Event Details and Schedule:
- The 16th Annual 5K Run by the Bay, Saturday, October 22, 2022
- Race Day Registration starts at 7:30 AM
- Kids Fun Run (5 & Younger) 8:30 AM
- Kids Fun Fun (5 $ older) 8:45 AM
- 5K Run 9:15 AM
Race day parking will be on the school’s south parking lot and the upper field overflow parking is available on Park Street.
Awards:
- Cash Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 overall female and male finishers.
- Medals will go to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place Male and Female in the following age groups:
- 8 and under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
- A special prize will be awarded to the fastest family. Calculated using the family's fastest three times.
Walkers are welcome. Strollers are welcome. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please start in the back.
