Introducing Saturdays at Bay Farm! This year at the start of each month, Bay Farm will be hosting events on campus for the local community ranging from children's music, STEAM workshops, and family entertainment.
Join us for our first Saturdays at Bay Farm on Saturday, October 5 with Vanessa Trein! The multi-award winning, Boston-based family music performer, Vanessa Trien, and her band of musical friends, lovingly called The Jumping Monkeys will be performing at Bay Farm Montessori Academy. "Packing concert halls, preschool fundraisers, libraries and outdoor venues with dancing kids and families, Vanessa is known for highly interactive and energetic shows, featuring plenty of group singing and movement."
The Jumping Monkeys regularly include Adam Michael Rothberg on lead guitar/mandolin, Fabio Pirozzolo on percussion, and Richard Gates on bass. Together with Vanessa, they create a joyful, acoustic instrument and harmony-rich folk/pop/world sound all their own.
With Vanessa's four Parents' Choice Award-winning albums of original songs based on her years of teaching preschool music and parent-child music classes and, more importantly, on her 13 years of parenting her two kids, she brings a warmth and connection with audiences that makes her shows extra special.
