Bay Farm Montessori Academy - Joy Purpose Compassion

Grab your running shoes and come run or walk at Bay Farm Montessori Academy’s 15th Annual 5k Run by the Bay on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

Held in memory of Royce Whitaker, a beloved second grade student at Bay Farm whose life was cut short in a tragic accident in the summer of 2009, this USATF-sanctioned race begins and ends on the Bay Farm Montessori Academy campus and runs along beautiful Bay Road in Duxbury. You won't want to miss this high-spirited road race celebrating the joy, compassion, and unquenchable curiosity of Royce and all of the students at Bay Farm.

Be sure to stick around for the best post-race 5K party on the South Shore where BBQ Trucks and a Pour Garden await you at the finish.  21+ will receive one free beer.

The proceeds from this event help sustain Bay Farm’s commitment to balanced classrooms and socio-economic diversity. Proceeds benefit The Royce Whittaker Scholarship Fund for incoming second grade families as well as the Right-Fit Tuition Program for deserving students enrolled at the school.
