One of the many characteristics our students share is their enthusiasm for learning. With a broad range of topics to study, Bay Farm Montessori Academy students are able to explore the places their imaginations take them. They come to school with many questions to be answered, and learn the process of how to seek answers for themselves, a satisfying and joyful learning experience.

With respect and responsibility as cornerstones of their education, it is no wonder that acts of kindness and maturity are commonplace in the classroom, on the playground and in the broader community. Grounded with the understanding that each person - student, faculty, parent, and visitor - brings unique, valued qualities to the school, students are open-minded and open-hearted to their peers of different backgrounds and experience.

Working together and problem-solving come naturally to our students. As they progress through our program, they become more and more adept at group work, and have ample opportunity to practice their skills as leaders and listeners. Students learn to build on each other's strengths, and learn from one another. Within the curriculum, each student is given the chance to share the highlights of knowledge which capture and fascinate. To this end, our students are motivated and drawn together in a learning process which is both safe and stimulating.
